Hi Reader,

Fig season is here (or at least, just around the corner depending on where you live), and I have officially started stocking up on figs to start making my favorite fig recipes.

As you know, this blog is called The Fig Jar, so I have a special fondness for that sweet little fruit. And there’s no better way to celebrate than with this super easy Fig and Prosciutto Pizza!

It’s a cozy and elegant pizza with sliced fresh figs, creamy goat cheese, savory prosciutto, garlic-infused olive oil, and a peppery arugula garnish, all finished with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

I just made this a few nights ago with my first batch of figs this season and I wish I had made two! My family couldn't stop eating it. And it was wayyy too easy for how good it tastes. I hope you'll try it!

Happy fig season!

"We need more stars! Excellent and easy to make with our very own fresh figs…& we loaded it down with figs! Since we hadn’t used goat cheese before, we kept it away from the edges for fear it would melt over the edges—it didn’t! Next time we’ll cover the entire crust with goat cheese. I cooked my cinnamon/pear balsamic vinegar down into a glaze and was it ever perfect!" -Ceci

Enjoy,

P.S. Let me know if you try it!
