🍊 Kumquat Upside Down Cake + More New Recipes!

Happy Tuesday, Reader!

This week, I wanted to share with you a recipe that has been a staple at my house during this kumquat season.

If you've ever tried kumquats, you know that they can be extremely tart in their raw form. But when they're baked into this buttery Kumquat Upside Down Cake, they become irresistibly delightful.

Where can I get my hands on some kumquats?

They are in season from November to March but I’ve seen kumquat trees in my neighborhood that are full of fruit through May. Your best bet is to keep an eye out at grocery stores, farmer’s markets, and online. Or if you're lucky enough to have neighbors or friends with a kumquat tree (that's me!), you'll often get a huge score from them when the time is right.

However you acquire these little guys, you're going to want to try as many of these kumquat recipes as you can.

Enjoy!
